If you follow the instructions carefully, you may be able to understand something. Everybody loves soccer, I love soccer, so this month is the month of soccer.

Did you think I didn't know about 2advanced? Here they are with the new design. If you like the abstract artworks like I do, then iso10s is for you. Chemicalbox? where are the chemicals? on their site. Yay for Mihai Dragan new 'kindablog'. Liquisoft has a nice font type, called Fonce Sans. I say, enjoy everything Emotive Project has to offer, did I said something wrong? And yes, the site that everybody is talking about, Kev Adamson's blog. And one more abstract, if you don't mind, Emotioncore.

June (2006.06)

The language grew out of grunts of effort, inarticulate chants or exclamations of fear or surprise. The same happen to art.

Here we go again. Magnus Kjall, Pawel Nolbert and Pete Golibersuch go for abstract artwork, Nine Mile and Materialab studios for web design, Morgenstern for music production, Kate Kelton for being the first actress that I know to design her own website and one more, the Designers Republic.

Quest: Decode that number, if you can :-) No hints from me.

There are lots of ways to show that you are intelligent, but the most intelligent way to show that you are intelligent is to be different.

How about some new "old" people from the network this month? Pete Harrison who has amazing abstract skills, Dave Shea for the "css Zen Garden", Veerle Pieters for her new blog design, Kiosk Studio is definitively a creative team there, Peter Jaworowski for his website background, Mad4milk for moo.fx and mooflex, Inversus Magazine for Alex Hnatenko photography and unique flash design and Lightrage Studio for interesting layouts.

March (2006.03)

Colors, I say plenty of colors, magic colors, sun colors, spring colors... the spring takeover! That's it, the spring take(over) the bad winter away from us. I may say this is a great opportunity to present a list of fantastic artists.

Who we have here on this beautiful month? Bryan Veloso, who is a true 'avalon' star in graphic design, Tyson Rosage, don't ask, I don't know why, see yourself, Lucian Slatineanu, he's really a bad boy, Tasha, who hasn't a last name, for her small... those things, see what I'm talking about, Nick La for flash version of his website, Douglas Bowman for his portfolio, Molly E. Holzschlag, great articles and books and Lea Alcantara, great usage of red tint and simple design.

Blu' sky blue. Need to say more?

Of course I do, let's see, ISO50, not only for the flash layout but for his design projects too, Cobra Creative is definitively a creative team, Danger Graphics, danger is everywhere, even here, Phono Phunk, I like his music, especially 'Shy boy' (I'm a shy boy too), Joshua Ink, for the website graphics, Mitja Ribic, simple & cool nevertheless, Bart-Jan Verhoef, his site background impressed me and Think Pink Studio because we really need to think pink sometimes in our life.

Note: Links are little buggy in flash.

About (me/backlist)

My name is Lucian E. Marin, I'm a designer from Romania and you may know me from other websites as kalphegor.

Backlist concept is simple, to present a list of Top8 designers (artists in general) and their websites. Along with the list, I try to bring a new design every month, if not too impressive, a least expressive.

Contact me on lucian (at) lucianmarin (dot) com

For backlist logo I use Magurno's custom shapes and for Ajax script.aculo.us and tooltip.js

Sorry for my English, isn't the best thing I know.
